William "Bill" J. Ferrell

WILLIAM "BILL" J. FERRELL, 89 of Louisville, passed away, on Wednesday, July 27, 2016. He was an Army veteran of World War II, a retired GE employee of 31 years, a member of the Highview Volunteer Fire Dept, and a member of Watterson Trail Church of Christ (formerly Bardstown Rd Church of Christ). Bill is preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia Ferrell (McPherson), and siblings, Novie Porter, Dorothy Shelton and Alyne Hunt.
He is survived by his children, Linda Watson (Tom), Treva McCauley (Melvin) and siblings, May Mallory (C.P.), Vinyard Ferrell (Jean), grandchildren, Heather Hardy (William), Courtney Watson, Kyle McCauley (Pamela) and Kala McCauley, great-grandchildren, Matthew, Kate, Eli, Kadyn and Ada.
A funeral service to celebrate Bill's life will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, August 1, 2016 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, with interment to follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Butler County, KY. Guests are invited to attend a visitation from 3-8 p.m. Sunday, July 31, 2016 and after 9 a.m. the day of the funeral.
