Willard D. Hester

Willard D. Hester, 91  of Bowling Green, entered into rest  on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at The Medical Center. The Logan County native was born June 19, 1920 to the late Harry and Della Brown Hester. He retired after 45 years at James P. Rogers Lumber Company. He loved to travel, fish, and was deeply devoted to his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Marta Thomason Hester, three brothers, three sisters and  an infant great-grandson Nathan Ross Gibbs.
Funeral Services for Willard Hester will be conducted Tuesday November 22, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the Young Funeral Home Russellville Chapel with Bro. Gary Oberhausen officiating burial to follow in the Felts Cemetery. Visitation will begin Monday November 21, 2011 from 5-8 p.m. and Tuesday from 8 a.m. until the funeral hour at 1:00 p.m.
Survivors include three daughters, Louise Perry and her husband Mike, Norma Price and her Husband Glenn, Peggie Salings and her husband Travis all of Bowling Green. Four grandchildren, Lisa Young and her husband Brent of Sugar Grove, Melissa Towe,  Stephen Graham and Lesley Salings, all of Bowling Green. Three great-grandchildren, Brittany Gibbs and fiance' Jeremy Alexander of Newburgh IN., Chad Young and fiance' Lindsey Porter, and Kirsten Graham all of Bowling Green. Honorary great-grandchildren Jake and Charli Hodges and several nieces and nephews.



Louise, Lisa & Stephen. Sorry for your loss. I know you loved him very much.
