Willard C. Miller, 83, of Morgantown, KY, passed away Friday, July 15, 2016, at Beaver Dam Nursing and Rehab in Beaver Dam, KY. Willard was born April 26, 1933, to the late Charlie and Floy Findley Miller. He attended Oak Ridge General Baptist Church and was a U.S. Army Korean War veteran, and he retired from L&N and B&O Railroad. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Veneda Miller, one daughter, Joetta Meredith, three brothers, Bobby, Wesley and Douglas Miller, one sister, Mary Jane Lee and one great-grandchild, Gabbriella Smith.
Willard is survived by three sons; Eddie Miller, wife Karen, of Morgantown, KY, Tommy Miller of Leitchfield, KY and Billy Miller, wife Lisa, of Morgantown, KY, two daughters; Carletta Carroll, husband Kenny, of Leitchfield, KY and Donna Blacklock, husband Marty, of Cromwell, KY, two brothers; Johnny Miller, wife Virginia, of Dundee, KY and Charles Miller of Morgantown, KY, seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 19, 2016, at 12:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Chapel with Bro. David Hughes officiating.
Burial will be in the Smith Home Cemetery where military rights will be conducted by the Ohio Co. Honor Guard.
Visitation will be held Monday, July 18, 2016, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Chapel and Tuesday, July 19, 2016, from 8:00 AM until funeral time at 12:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
