Wilda Marie Pennington Lockhart, 86, of Oakland, Ky. passed away August 11, 2015 at the Hospice of Southern Kentucky. Mrs. Lockhart was the daughter of the late A.W. Pennington and Josephine Clemons Pennington. She is preceded in death by her husband George H. Lockhart; one daughter, Paula Marie Hood; two sons, George H. Lockhart, Jr. and Jeffrey M. Lockhart; six siblings, Allen Pennington, William Pennington, Elsie Wilson, Beula Meredith, Kathryn Williams, A. W. Pennington, Jr. She was a graduate of Bristow High School. Mrs. Lockhart was a homemaker and a member of the Clear Fork Baptist Church.

She is survived by one son, Ricky Lockhart (Mary Ann) of Morgantown; one daughter, Pamela Lewis (Jimmie); two sisters, Ellen McDaniel and Corene Holder (Clifford); one son-in-law, Carey Hood; three sister-in-laws, Mary Pennington, Wanda Pennington, and Nell Lockhart; one brother-in-law, Henry Lockhart (June); nine grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2015 from 3:00pm to 8:00pm at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home. Funeral Services Friday, August 14, 2015 at 1:00 pm with visitation beginning at 12:00pm at Clear Fork Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Clear Fork Baptist Church Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Hospice of Southern Kentucky or the Gideon Bible.
