Wilbur Estill McKinney

Wilbur Estill McKinney, 80, of  Morgantown, Ky. passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at the Morgantown Care and Rehab Center in Morgantown.   Wilbur was born Jan. 9, 1934  in Butler County, to the late Estill and Gertie Ann Pate McKinney.  He was a member of  Cool Springs General Baptist Church since 1975.  He worked for Chrysler, B&R and then worked and  retired from Kellwood of many years. Wilbur was known as the birdman of Butler County. He enjoyed building bird houses and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his siblings William Garvin McKinney, Earl Young McKinney, JW McKinney, Eugene McKinney, Carlos McKinney, Edna Myrl Johnson, Eula Peay and Leola Peay. 
 
He  is survived by his wife of 60 years Ruby Nell Morphew McKinney of Morgantown, 2 sons Robbie McKinney and wife Gayline of Morgantown, Joddie McKinney and wife Angie of Morgantown;  grandchildren Rebecca Raymer and husband Jeff of Morgantown, Elizabeth Porter and husband Joshua of Morgantown ; 1 great-grandson Chandler Tinsley of Morgantown.
 
Funeral Service will be held at Smith Funeral Home, Saturday, June 21, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. David Youngblood officiating . Burial will follow in the Newton Cemetery . Visitation will be Friday, June 20, 2014 from 2:30pm-9pm and Saturday 8am until time of  Service at 2 pm at Smith Funeral Home.
