Wilbur C. Daugherty

Wilbur C. Daugherty, 78 of Bowling Green, Ky formerly of Morgantown, KY passed away Thursday, July 2, 2020 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. Wilbur was born June 28, 1942 in Ohio County, Kentucky to the union of Jesse and Leona Morris Daugherty. He was a member of Aberdeen Missionary Baptist Church and he retired from IMCO Recycling. Wilbur was a avid UK fan who loved playing golf, cards, mowing the yard and spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers Kenneth Lee Daugherty and Sammy Daugherty. 

Wilbur C. Daugherty is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Carol Hostetler Daugherty of Bowling Green, KY; two daughters Teresa West (Glen) of Morgantown, KY and Christy Moore (Danny) of Bowling Green, KY; one son Eddie Daugherty (Ruby) of Morgantown, KY; 11 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; three sisters Reba Lear (Wayne) of Flint Springs, KY, Carol Smith (Tony) of Flint Springs, KY and Pat Smith (Ray) of Eddyville, KY; three brothers Paul Daugherty (Zona) of Morgantown, KY, Jesse "Jay" Daugherty (Tammy) of Bowling Green, KY and Timothy "Buck" Daugherty (Pat) of Morgantown, KY and several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Monday, July 6, 2020 at 1:00pm with Bro. Greg Fields and Bro. Brian Jones officiating. Burial will be held in the New Liberty Cemetery where Michael Goff, Bobby McDaniel, Jake West, Trevor Daugherty, Trenton Daugherty and T.C. Ashby will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Monday July 6, 2020 from 10:00am until funeral time at 1:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made Gideons International P.O.
