Wanda Lee Johnson, 77 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Monday, September 5, 2016, Morgantown Care & Rehab. Wanda was born on October 1, 1938, in Butler County Kentucky to the late Jessie "Jack" Dwey and Ollo Adkins Turner and wife of the late Elvis Curtis Johnson. She was a member of Free Union General Baptist " Old Decker" Church, retired foster grandparent after ten years and worked at the Boys and Girls Club. Other than her parents and husband she is preceded in death by one daughter Patricia Ann Hunt; grandson John Curtis Childres; four sisters Juanita Johnson, Lorene Embry, Ilene Cardwell and Octavia Cannon.
Wanda Lee Johnson is survived by two daughters Nancy Lynn Childres and husband Timmy of Horse Branch, Ky., Gail Wilder and husband Mike of Morgantown, Ky.; 6 grandchildren Charles Childres (Samantha), Nickie Saling (Dennie), Jessica Montgomery (Josh), Jonathan Curtis, Hayley Outland (Stephen) and Katherine Childres; nine great-grandchildren Harley, Jolynn, Tristan, Raven and John Alan Childres,Dillion and Caden Saling, Caanan Outland and Hunter Montgomery and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Thursday, September 8, 2016, at 11:00 am with Bro. Tommy West officiating.

Burial will be in the Lumbustown Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 7, 2016, from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm and Thursday, September 8, 2016, from 8:00 am until funeral time at 11:00 am at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
