Wanda G. Rice, age 83, passed away Saturday the 17th day of December 2022 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. Wanda was born to the union of the late Bernard C. and Clara E. McCammon Green on Saturday the 18th day of March 1939 in Louisville, KY.  Wanda was a member of Salem Missionary Baptist Church and a homemaker. She enjoyed spending the winters in Florida, where she loved going on long walks on the beach. Wanda enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandchildren. 

Wanda Rice is survived by her husband of 62 years Maitland B. Rice Jr. of Logansport, KY; five children Jeffrey Rice wife Tammy of Utica, KY, Timothy Rice wife Vanda of Owensboro, KY, Lisa Rice of Logansport, KY, Darren Rice wife Amy of Logansport, KY and Stephen Rice wife Stacy of Logansport, KY; 11 grandchildren Taryn Norris husband Andy of Owensboro, KY, John Rice of Owensboro, KY, Sabrina Durbin husband Heath of Elizabethtown, KY, Holly Sherry husband Jack of Lexington, KY, Maitland Rice of Louisville, KY, Vincent Rice of Nashville, TN, Katherine and Sam Rice and Parker, Kennedy and Lawson Rice all of Logansport, KY; 4 great grandchildren Mary Beth and Anna Durbin both of Elizabethtown, KY, Lincoln Norris of Owensboro, KY and Saylor Sherry of Lexington, KY; one sister Suzette Nunley husband Nathan of Owensboro, KY; one brother Earl Mac Green of Louisville, KY and several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be held at Salem Missionary Baptist Church Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at 11:00am with Bro. Derek Cain officiating. Burial will be in the Salem Cemetery where John, Maitland, Vincent, Sam, Parker and Lawson Rice will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel and Wednesday 9:00am until funeral time at 11:00am at Salem Missionary Baptist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Salem Cemetery Fund 107 Hunts Lake Road Morgantown, KY 42261.
