Wallace Ray Harper, age 82 of Lewisburg, died Monday at Creekwood Place in Russellville.  He was a Butler County native, son of the late Jerry Harper and Etta Agnes Harper, a self-employed carpenter and an Army veteran.  He was preceded in death by 4 brothers Hardin, Randall, Jerry Ray, and Ivan Harper and 1 sister Mildred Cordel.

Wallace Ray Harper is survived by his wife Willie Ella Harper of Lewisburg, daughter Patty Gibbs and husband Bill of Springfield TN, 5 sons Jimmy Harper and wife Loretta of Russellville, Benny Harper of Lewisburg, Billy Harper of Lewisburg, Teddy Harper and wife Lisa of Lewisburg, and Wally Harper and wife Rita of Lewisburg, 2 sisters Nell Wentzel of Brandon FL and Wanda Anderson and husband Robert of Danville, 7 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, 3 step great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Price Funeral Home in Lewisburg.  Burial will be in the Arnold Cemetery in Lewisburg.  Visitation will be Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. at the Price Funeral Home.
