Vonda Sue Markham, 79 of Dunmor, Kentucky died on Saturday, September 12, 2015, at her daughter's residence in Dunmor, Kentucky.

She was born Friday, December 6, 1935 in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late John Henry Whitney and the late Josie Wilson Whitney.

She was a housekeeper for Lake Malone Inn and a member of Mt. Moriah Church of Christ.

Surviving are sons, Randy Markham of Dunmor, KY, Dwight Markham of Dunmor, KY, Johnny Markham of Dunmor, KY and Russell Markham of Dunmor, KY, daughters, Gaye Smith of Lewisburg, KY, Margo Escue of Lewisburg, KY and Billie Jo Stinson of Morgantown, KY, sisters, Bonnie Adler of Lewisburg, KY, Dean Hogge of Henderson, KY and Velma Woods of Russellville, KY; 11 grand children; 16 great grand children.

She was predeceased by sons, Granville Markham and Gene Thomas Markham, sister, Dorris Travis, 3 grandchildren, Shannon Sears, DJ Markham, and Jordan Sorrels, and 1 great grandchild, Menda Brooks.

A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Monday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with Rev. Mike Dukes officiating. Interment will be in Dunmor Cemetery, Dunmor, KY.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Monday, September 14, 2015, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, Kentucky.
