Vivian Elaine Phelps, 59 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Saturday, July 2, 2016, at her residence. Vivian was born on Friday, August 31, 1956, in Edmonson County Kentucky to the late Hubert and Sylva Joiner Stice. She was a homemaker and other than her parents she is preceded in death by two sisters Emma Murphy and Evonne Vincent and three brothers Bub, Walton and Elmus Stice.
Vivian Elaine Phelps is survived by her husband Forrest "Woody" Phelps of Morgantown, Ky.; two sons John Phelps and wife Esther of Hanford, California and Matthew Phelps of Nashville, Tennessee; one daughter Laura Turner and husband Michael of Morgantown, Ky.; god daughter Becky Martin and husband Babe of Morgantown, Ky.; grandson Caleb Renfrow of Morgantown, Ky., granddaughter Bailey Renfrow of Morgantown, Ky., granddaughter Emily Phelps of Hanford California, grandson Stephen Ervin of Hanford California, granddaughter Natalie Ervin of Hanford California and granddaughter Crystal Ervin of Hanford California; one great-grandson Keegan Rowe of Hanford, California; two step grandsons Jordan and Tyler Turner of Caneyville, Ky.; one sister Gail Taylor and husband Marion of Bowling Green, Ky. and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Wednesday, July 6, 2016, at 3:00 pm with Speaker Marion Taylor officiating.

Burial will be in the Grant Phelps Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2016, from 4:30 pm - 8:00 pm and Wednesday, July 6, 2016, from 8:00 am until funeral time at 3:00 pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel. Please share any photos, memories, condolences  or light a candle in memory of Vivian at www.jonesfuneralchapel.com
