Mrs. Virgie Doolin Walker, age 95, of Brandenburg, KY passed away on Friday, April 17, 2020, at her residence.  Mrs. Walker attended the Brandenburg Church of Christ.  Her family meant everything to her, and she was a very devoted wife and mother.

Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by her parents, Monroe and Martha Ellen Lacefield Brooks; her husbands, Ben E. Doolin and Edgar W. Walker; and two sisters, Velva Roberts and Willodene Coghill.  

She is survived by one son, Dale Doolin and his wife Cathy, Radcliff, KY; two step-daughters, Valerie Hewlett and her husband Tom, Brandenburg, KY and Laura Walker, Louisville, KY; two grandchildren, Cameron Doolin and Brent Blanc; two step-grandchildren, Paul and Matthew Hewlett; two great grandchildren, Mckenzie and Tyler Blanc; a brother-in-law, Charlie Coghill; her nieces and nephews, Jody Coghill, Ellen Nash, Charlie Roberts, Freddie Roberts, Theresa Roberts, Lisa Lamb, Renee Jackson, Peggy and Howard Drake, Linda McCloud, Myrna Slade and Robert and Bennie Doolin.

Funeral services will be private for Mrs. Walker’s immediate family, due to health concerns.  Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery in Morgantown, KY.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Hager funeral Home.  Online condolences may be left at www.hagerfuneralhome.com.
