Virgie Dockery, 78, of Morgantown, KY, passed away Friday, November 2, 2018, at Twin Lakes Regional Hospital in Leitchfield, KY. Vergie was born May 13, 1940, in Butler Co. KY to the late Roy and Laura B. Kassinger Snodgrass. She was a member of Jesus First Holiness Church and was a nursing home dietitian. Other than her parents, Vergie is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Kayla Dockery, brother, Vernard Snodgrass and sister Pamela Kuprion.
Virgie is survived by her husband, Olden Dockery, of Morgantown, KY, one Daughter, Belinda Shirley, of Morgantown, KY, two sons; Olden Dockery Jr. (Becky), of Georgetown, KY, and Mark Dockery (Robin), of Morgantown, KY, one brother, Ronald Snodgrass, of Nebraska, four sisters; Margie Dockery (Albert), of Morgantown, KY. Phyllis Dockery, Joann Wilson and Carolyn Goodley (Roger), all of Owensboro, KY, 13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 6, 2018, at 12:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Chapel with Bro. Delbert Dockery officiating. Burial will be in the Zion Harmony Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, November 5, 2018, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Tuesday, November 6, 2018, from 8:00 AM until funeral time at 12:00 PM at the Jones Funeral chapel.
