Viola Manley

Viola Manley, 81, of Owensboro, passed away on October 10, 2015 at Hillcrest Health Care Center.  She was born on July 6, 1934 in Butler County to Robert and Annie Alsup.

She was retired from Danhauer Drug Store. She was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church and a Kentucky Colonel. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Willis Leon Manley, her son-in-law Michael Howard, five brothers and four sisters.

   She is survived by 4 daughters Sandra Nicotra (Anthony) of Melbourne, FL, Linda Bandy of Louisville, Debbie Jenkins of Owensboro, Lisa Tanner (Larry) of Owensboro, and one son Christopher Manley of Gastonia, North Carolina.   13 grandchildren: Anthony Henry, Susan Henry, Adam Bandy, Allison Robinson (Derek), Robert Jenkins, Paul Jenkins,Savannah Jenkins, Rebecca Bogucki (Eric), Cameron Howard (Elissa), Andi Howard, Jayden Howard, Tyson Howard, Keylan Howard.  12 great grandchildren: Thomas Henry, Jackson Bandy, Miles Bandy, Drew Robinson, Connor Jenkins, Paxton Jenkins, Lucy Jenkins, Tyler Bogucki, Kennedy Bogucki, and Emerson Bogucki.  5 sisters: Mary Henderson, Dorothy Parks, Linda Redd (Larry), Bonnie Willis (Jimmy), Connie Kasinger –all of Owensboro.  1 brother: Billy Alsup (Joyce)—of Dallas, GA.

Visitation will be held at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory  on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 from 12:00pm-2:00pm with services to follow at 2:00pm. Burial will be at Owensboro Memorial Gardens.  Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
