Vickie Diane Murphy McIntosh, age 68, of Louisville, KY returned to her Heavenly Father on Thursday, March 14, 2024. She was born in Jefferson County, KY on January 18, 1956 to the late Willis C. Murphy, Sr. and Frances J. Robinson Murphy. She was a retired teacher’s aide and deputy county clerk for Bullitt county.  She was a member of Independent Baptist Church and a volunteer E.M.T. for the Zoneton Fire Department.

Besides her parents, she is also preceded in death by two sisters, Doris Murphy and Shirley Cadarette.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of 47 years, Michael Lee McIntosh, having united in marriage on August 7, 1976; children, Rebecca Linton (Trevis) and Craig McIntosh (Kim); grandchildren, Jennie Lemoine (Michelle), Bex Linton (Cam), Sierra Linton, Madison Linton, Kaity Linton, Payton Durbin, Kolton Durbin and Cooper McIntosh; great grandchildren, Charlee Linton-Lemoine and Rilee Linton-Lemoine; brother, Willis C. Murphy, Jr. (Sandy) and Charles Ronnie Murphy (Peggy); sister, Lana Moore; brother-in-law, Leonard Cadarette and a host of loving nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted at 12 noon on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with burial to follow in the Brookland Cemetery.  Friends may pay their respects on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, from 4 pm until 8 pm and on Wednesday from 9 am until time of service at the funeral home.
