Trudy Alma Black, 80 of Morgantown, passed away Monday, July 30, 2012 at the Owensboro Medical Health System in Owensboro. Trudy was born September 7, 1931 in Coleman, Florida to the late Henry Turner Peterson and Trudie Zipperer Peterson. She was a homemaker and Church of Christ faith. Trudy was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 1 sister.

Trudy Alma Black is survived by her husband of 63 years Graham Black and they were married July 2, 1949; 3 daughters Fran Aeschliman husband Elgin of Atlanta, GA, Nedra Worden husband Lester of Marion, OH and Lisa Womack husband Bob of Morgantown; 3 granddaughters Christine Forrester and husband Michael of Atlanta, GA, Mary Knoke and husband Craig of Appleton, WI and Jennifer Jewell and husband Jeff of Beaver Dam, KY; 2 grandsons Timothy Bishop of Appleton, WI and Jeremy Womack of Morgantown; 5 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at the Warren's Mill Cemetery on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at 4:00pm with Bro. Kelley Harris officiating. Burial will be in the Warren's Mill Cemetery.
