Troy L. Jenkins, age 61 of Rochester, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at the Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Born on Saturday, April 16, 1963, in Greenville, KY. Troy was preceded in death by his mother, Stella Faye Jarvis Jenkins.

His memory will be cherished and kept alive by his father, Harold "Posco" Jenkins of Rochester, KY; three children, Justin Glen Jenkins of Central City, KY, Kyndra Shae Jenkins of Alvaton, KY, and Kyra Rhae Jenkins of Princeton, KY; five grandchildren; special friend, Jenny Albin of Hartford, KY, and several cousins.

He was a member of the Rochester Missionary Baptist Church, Troy also preached in several churches over the years. Professionally, he served as a correctional officer in various detention centers. Troy's interests were as rich and varied as his character. He found solace and joy in gardening, traveling was another passion and fishing. Described by those who knew him as kind, friendly, and faith-filled, Troy's impact on the world was both profound and positive.

Graveside services and burial will be held at the Rochester Cemetery on Monday, December 30, 2024 at 12:00pm with Bro.
