Tony Ray Daugherty, 56, of Bowling Green, Ky. passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2022. He was born in Hartford, Ky. on Sept. 24, 1965. He was a member of New Liberty Baptist Church and was a commercial painter for Keller Williams. Tony was a NASCAR fan and loved all sports and animals. He also enjoyed fishing and hiking. He was preceded in death by his father Randolph “Doc” Daugherty; grandparents George and Cordie Smith and Kenneth and Bunah Daugherty; niece Mallory Jo Franzell.

He is survived by his mother Kathleen Smith Daugherty Franzell of Morgantown; brothers Timothy Daugherty (Sharlet), Joey Franzell (Felicia), Christopher Franzell, Charles Franzell, J.R. Daugherty; sisters Tammy Daugherty, Katina Kisthard (Michael), I-Eshea White (Wayne); several family and friends.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 1pm at Smith Funeral Home with Bro. Lawson Embry officiating. Burial will be held in the New Liberty Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 25 from 5pm-8pm and Saturday from 10am until time of service at Smith Funeral Home.
