Timmy Ray Martin, age 64, of Morgantown, KY, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at the Hospice House of Southern Ky. He was born on May 13, 1962 in Warren Co., KY to the late Sammie and Roberta Scarbrough Martin of Auburn, KY. He loved to farm, raise cattle, garden and spend time with his family. Timmy was also an avid UK fan and loved to hunt and fish. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson Chance Lane Martin.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Charlotte Cardwell Martin; Daughter Heather Raye Smith (Laymond); Son Travor Lane Martin; Grandchildren Brennan Ray Smith and Reagan Hope Smith, Mason Keith Lane Martin and Myles Cane Martin; Two Brothers Kenneth Martin and Roger Martin (Virginia).; Sister Kimberly Harper and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at 2:00pm at Smith Funeral Home with Bro. Mitch Ash officiating. Burial will follow in the Union Cemetery with pallbearers; Travor Martin, Laymond Smith, Mason Martin, Brennan Smith, James Thomason, JR, Brett & Myles Martin. Visitation will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Friday, May 22 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm and Saturday from 9:00am until 2:00pm.
