Tiffany Hampton: Life in Logansport
Have you ever had one of this moments where it seems that time stands still for you? Not really in a bad way, but in a very special way. For instance, you catch a glimpse of your child playing in the other room, or you see your spouse putting their whole heart into a project.
I have these moments sometimes, and it always leaves me with a heart full of thank fullness. The only way I can describe it is that God allows me to see with His eyes, or hear with His ears. It's as if God grabs me by the shoulders and makes me stop in my tracks so that I can see the blessing He has placed right in front of me. We all get busy and distracted. We all take things for granted.
Life happens all around us everyday. We are blessed to be a part of it. We are beyond blessed to have a loving family to share it with. When is the last time God grabbed you so that you could see through His eyes, and take in the blessing of your spouse, child, grandchild, job, home, safety . . . the list goes on and on and on. If you say "He hasn't", then you really are too busy, or very distracted. I challenge you to step back this week, and really see all you have to be thankful for. Doing that may turn your bad day into a great day.
