Thurman Coy, 79 of Roundhill, Kentucky passed away Saturday May 15, 2021 at his residence. He was born on Monday June 16, 1941 in Roundhill, Kentucky to the late George and Nora Forbes Coy. Thurman was a retired logger, farmer and sawyer at the sawmill. He loved horses, two special horses Ami and Julie, mules, coon hunting and a special coon hound Missy. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by one sister Alene Renfrow and three brothers Conred, Carman and Norman Coy.

Thurman Coy is survived by his wife of 53 years Diana Brown Coy of Roundhill, KY; four sons Chris Coy wife Donna of Brownsville, KY, Chad Coy wife Angela of Roundhill, KY, Shannon Coy wife Janice of Brooklyn, KY and Clinton Coy wife Christine of Roundhill, KY; 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Wednesday May 19, 2021 at 12:00pm with Bro. David Bastin officiating. Burial will be in the Coy Family Cemetery where his four sons and grandsons will serve as pallbearers Chris, Chad, Shannon, Clinton, Carmen, Zach and Matt Coy. Visitation will be held on Tuesday May 18, 2021 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm and Wednesday 8:00am until funeral time at 12:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
