Thomas David Cook, 73, of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Monday, June 23, 2014 at the Hospice House in Bowling Green, Ky. Thomas was born May 8, 1941 in Webster County, to the late Sterling Clifton and Lana Overby Cook. He attended Aberdeen Missionary Baptist Church. Mr. Cook was a Federal Mine Inspector, loved playing golf and was an avid UK basketball fan.   He was preceded in death by his parents and one son Christopher Thomas Cook.

He is survived by wife Cathy Cook of Morgantown; one son David Cook and wife Ava of Providence, Ky.; was the loving father of Jo Lynn Reed and husband Kenneth of Morgantown, Jana Rose and husband David of Morgantown; four grandchildren Zac Cook and wife Jamie of Hanson, Ky., Tyler Reed and fiance Megan Pulskamp both of Lexington, Ky., Conner Reed of Morgantown and Beth Rose of Morgantown.

Funeral Service will be held at Smith Funeral Home, Friday, June 27, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Charles Ed Flener and Bro. Roger Taylor officiating . Burial will follow in the Hill Haven Memory Garden Cemetery . Visitation will be Thursday, June 26, 2014 from 5 pm-8pm and Friday, June 27, 2014- 8am until time of service at Smith Funeral Home.
