Theldred "Dale" White, 67, of  Morgantown, Ky., passed away Saturday, June 17, 2017, at his residence.  He was born in Gilstrap, Ky., on August 22, 1949, to the late Leamon and Alline Baize White.  He was a member of New Liberty Missionary Baptist Church, was a retired counselor at the Green River Boys Camp, a preacher, and a barber.  Dale enjoyed bowling, fishing, camping, watching basketball and NASCAR.  He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson Cody Smith; siblings Eudena Cook, Gwydline Hoover, Clifford White, James White and Kenneth Parks.
Mr. White is survived by his wife of 50 years Mary White of Morgantown; children Michael Dale White and wife Kimberly, Melissia Baxter all of Henderson and Melinda (Wendy) Smith-Whitmer and husband Jonathan of Morgantown; 7 grandchildren; 11 great- grandchildren; brothers Huey and Robert White; sisters Anita Miller, Freda Snodgrass and Ruth Barbee; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at New Liberty Missionary Baptist Church on Tuesday, June 20 at 2 pm with Bro. Gene Garner officiating.
Burial will follow in the New Liberty Cemetery. 
Visitation will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Monday, June 19 from 2-9 pm and Tuesday at New Liberty Missionary Baptist Church from 9 am until time of service.
