Stella Mae Oliver, 73 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Wednesday March 16, 2016 at the Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, Ky. Stella was born on Friday March 20, 1942 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Asbury and Pearl Howard Harlan and wife of the late Wayne Oliver. She was a member of Sugar Grove United Methodist Church and Methodist Women, editor of Sugar Grove news for many years, she worked at Fruit of Loom and Kanes for several years and one of the founders of the Morgantown Mission. Other than her parents and husband she is preceded in death by one son Bud Blair, two grandsons Robbie Gill and Lukas Blair, five brothers Willis, Pete, Arthur, Clarence and Charlie Harlan, four sisters Mary Jane Goodwin, Eunice Blanchard, Ruth Kinser and Martha Blair and special niece Erline Pruitt.
Stella Mae Oliver is survived by three daughters Melissa Hayes and husband Greg of Alvaton, Ky., Teresa Blair Reno and husband Michael of Bowling Green, Ky. and Connie Oliver Blair and Tony of Sugar Grove, Ky.; six granddaughters Sheena Phelps and husband Seth of Hawaii, Lindsey Blair of Sugar Grove, Ky., Morgan Hayes of Alvaton, Ky., Charla Blair of Indiana, Madilyn Reno of Bowling Green, Ky. and Malloreah Fields and husband Derek of Bowling Green, Ky.; six grandsons Jeremy Gill of Sugar Grove, Ky., C.W. Waters and Katy of Bowling Green, Ky., Joe Reno of Bowling Green, Ky., Clint Waters of Bowling Green, Ky., Justin Sadler wife Jenny of Alvaton, Ky. and Szeb Reno of Bowling Green, Ky.; three great granddaughters Myla Gill of Sugar Grove, Ky., Maddie Gill of Bowling Green, Ky. and Grace Sadler of Bowling Green, Ky.; one great grandson Robbie Laydon Gill of Bowling Green, Ky. and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Monday March 21, 2016 at 12:00pm with Bro. Gene Hadden and Bro. Tommy Brooks officiating. Burial will be in the Tuck Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday March 20, 2016 from 3:00pm - 8:00pm and Monday 8:00am until funeral time at 12:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
