Stefanie E. Coots, 84, of Bowling Green, entered into rest April 12, 2015, at her residence.
She was born June 21, 1930 in Eichenau Kresis Kattowitz, Poland to the late Zimmerhauer Franz Oszek and Hilaria Manka Oszek. She is also preceded in death by her husband Earl C. Coots.
Stefanie is survived by two sons, John Coots of Louisville, KY and Steve Coots (Violet) of Bowling Green, KY; two daughters, Connie Moss (William) of Dyer, TN and Mary Ann Coots of Bowling Green, KY; two sisters, Gertrude Faulhaber of Senden, Germany and Elenore Snyder of Topeka, KS; seven grandchildren, Melissa, Shannon, Sam, Azurdee, Michael, Chris and Tyler; eleven great-grandchildren, Corey, PJ, Brittany, Daisy, Natalie, Charles Jr., Ryan, Jake, Grace, Ethan and Reed. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 15, 2015, at the J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel, with burial to follow at the Chapel Union Missionary Church Cemetery in Morgantown, KY. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday and 9:00 a.m. Wednesday until service time at the funeral home.
