Sheliah Sue Burton, age 76 of Bowling Green, KY formerly of Morgantown, KY passed away Sunday the 26th day of February at the Commonwealth Regional Specialty Hospital in Bowling Green, KY. Sheliah was born on Tuesday the 19th day of November 1946 in Butler County, KY to Nevel Lee Phelps and Reva P. Embry Jones. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her long time companion Charles Daugherty; one brother Lee Phelps and one sister Marilyn Cardwell.  Sheliah was a member of Morgantown Church of Christ and Eastern Star. She enjoyed dancing, playing cards, attending church, socializing and her grandchildren. 

Sheliah Sue Burton is survived by two daughters Debbie Snodgrass husband Ronnie of Hodgenville, KY and Mary Duke husband Jarrod of Bowling Green, KY; three grandchildren Gracyn Snodgrass of Louisville, KY, Ella and Lucy Duke of Bowling Green, KY; one sister Tina Colter husband Timmy of Woodbury, KY and several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Thursday, March 2, 2023 at 10:00am with Bro. TJ Howard officiating. Burial will be in the Lumbustown Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm and Thursday 8:00am until funeral time at 10:00am at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
