Sharon F. Young, age 75 of Byron, GA passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at the Houston Medical Center in Warner Robins, GA. Sharon was born on Monday, December 30, 1946 in Butler County, KY to the late Tilford G. Flener and wife of the late Sammie Lee Young. She enjoyed reading, playing video games, watching Ice Age and she loved spending time with her family. Other than her father and husband she is preceded in death by one daughter Donna Howard; one brother Allen Flener and one sister in law Bettye Williams.

Sharon F. Young is survived by two daughters Sheila Rutledge (Lon) of Warner Robins, GA and Melissa Jones (Greg) of Bonaire, GA; 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; son in law Bernard Howard of Macon, GA; one sister Sandy Snodgrass of Morgantown, KY; one brother Doug Flener of Morgantown, KY; one sister in law Tina Flener of Morgantown, KY and several nieces and nephews.

All services are private with burial in the Morgan Smith Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Chapel.
