Sedrick Phelps

Sedrick Phelps, 73, of Morgantown, passed away at his home on May 1, 2024, surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was born to Alford and Mae Phelps on June 2, 1950, in Butler County.

 He graduated high school in Butler County and soon thereafter married his highschool sweetheart. Sedrick worked as a lineman for WRECC for over 20 years. As a very loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather he spent as much time with his family as possible.

 Sedrick spent most of his life doing volunteer work as a minister with the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. He had an enormous heart, you could feel his love in your life. He had the ability to reach people in a deeply positive way through his loving kindness and willingness to help anyone he met.

 Sedrick was a wonderful man who took pride in assisting others in any way possible. He always had a smile on his face and loved to make people laugh. Through his example he taught his children and grandchildren to be kind, loving, and to be forgiving of others.

 Sedrick is preceded in death by his parents Alford and Viola Mae Phelps, sister Faye DeWeese, and brother Alford Phelps Jr.

 He leaves to cherish his memory his dear wife of 54 years, Sharon, daughters and their spouses, Angela (Joseph) Kidd, Tonya (Bill) Limlingan; and grandchildren, Madison (Austin) Norris, Zachary Limlingan, and Kylie Limlingan, brother Paul (Devon) Phelps, and many nieces and nephews.

 Family, friends, and others who’s Sedrick's life has touched are welcome to join us in remembering him on May 25th at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses 4655 Russellville Rd Bowling Green, KY 42101.
