Sandra Dee Lindsey

Sandra Dee Lindsey, age 54 of Sunfish, departed this life at her residence, with her family by her side on Saturday, February 17, 2024.  The Warren County native was born on February 22, 1969 to the late Charles Lindsey and Helen Mae Embry.  She was married to her soul mate and loving husband of thirty-seven years, Rodney Lindsey, who survives.  

Sandra was a member of Sunny Point General Baptist Church.  She had worked in the past as a certified nursing assistant for Health Care.  In recent years, she started her own business, Sunfish Sales.  Being “Mamaw” to her beloved grandbabies is what she enjoyed most. 

Besides her husband, Rodney, she leaves to honor her memory— her sons, Rodney Shawn Lindsey (Danielle) of Wingfield and Joshua Illand Lindsey (Rachel) of Sunfish; grandchildren, Gavin Creek, Addison Lindsey, Bailey Lindsey, Jaxon Lindsey and Jameson Lindsey; Godchildren, Madilyn Dowell (River) and Lindel McKinney (Chloe); her siblings, David Haynes (Geraldine), Lisa Rone, Amy Phelps (Timothy), Janetta Crandell (Leroy) and Genevieve McKinney (Randall); step-brother, Lonnie Embry (Wilma), along with several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step–dad  who raised her, Calvin Embry. 

Interment will be in Sunny Point Church Cemetery.  Memorial contributions can be made to:  Sunny Point Cemetery Fund, c/o Buddy Hardin.
