Ruth Wilson Annis, 90, of Bowling Green, died Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at 1:33 p.m. at Greenview Regional Hospital.

She was born in Bowling Green on Feb. 9, 1922, to the late Ed and Mary Lewis Wilson. She was the wife of William Lawrence Annis for 41 years. Mrs. Annis was a member of the Church of Christ, a former employee of Holley Carburetor and Cutler Hammer, and a member of the Warren County Homemakers.

She is survived by three daughters, Juanita Smith and her husband, Clyde, Carol Willis and her husband, Clifford, and Janice Hall and her husband, Gary; a son, Henry Wilson; a stepdaughter, Gale Norman and her husband, Paul; a sister, Beatrice Pogue; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two stepgrandchildren, Maggie and Richard McKeown.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, with visitation from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at J.C. Kirby & Son Broadway Chapel. Burial will be in Bowling Green Gardens.
