Ruth Maxine Carroll, age 87 passed away Thursday the 12th day of January 2023 at her residence. Maxine was born to the union of the late Charlie and Zula Woolridge Neighbors on Thursday the 14th day of November 1935 in Butler County, KY. She was the wife of the late Luther T. Carroll. Maxine was preceded in death by four sisters Ilene Price, Jean Payne, Corinne Neighbors and Amba Neighbors and two brothers Harold and Eddie Neighbors. She was of the Baptist faith and a homemaker. Maxine enjoyed farming, gardening, her chickens and cooking.

Ruth Maxine Carroll is survived by two sons Danny Carroll wife Sandy and Timothy Carroll wife Judy both of Morgantown, KY; one grandson David Carroll of Morgantown, KY; one granddaughter Diane Carroll of Glasgow, KY; one step grandson John Wayne Henderson wife Cindy of Hardin County, KY; four brothers Allen, Freddie, William Edward and Jr. Neighbors; two sisters Charlene Adkins and Wendeline Sanderfer and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Sunday, January 15, 2023 at 1:30pm with Bro. Raleigh Blancett officiating. Burial will be in the Cook Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023 from 4:30 pm - 7:00pm and Sunday 11:00am until funeral time at 1:30pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
