Ruth Ann Beliles Hunt, age 84 of Morgantown, KY, passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at her residence in Morgantown. Born on Friday, February 2, 1940, in the Logansport community of Butler County, KY, Ruth's life was a tapestry of devotion to her family, her church, and her passions.

Ruth Ann was the daughter of the late William Eugene and Nellie Marie Hoops Beliles. Her journey through life was shared with her beloved husband of 62 years, David Hunt, whom she married on August 19, 1962. Together, they built a legacy of love and family, which includes their two devoted children, Jeanie Locke (Bryan) and Jon Hunt (Andrea), all of whom reside in Morgantown, KY. Ruth's joy was multiplied with the birth of her five grandchildren, Lute Locke (Maggie), Annie Locke, Bailey Carroll (Cameron), Brinkley Hunt, and Brody Hunt, and further brightened by the arrival of her great-grandchild, Asher Carroll. She is also survived by her brother, James Robert Beliles, and several nieces and nephews.

Ruth Ann was a long-standing member of the Morgantown First United Methodist Church. Her professional life was spent as a hairdresser at Norma's Beauty Salon. Beyond her work, Ruth Ann was an avid quilter and seamstress, skills that she honed with precision and artistry. Her quilts were not just blankets; they were stories woven from fabric, each stitch a testament to her patience and attention to detail. Ruth Ann also found joy in painting, and working in her flower gardens. She also enjoyed playing Candy Crush, however, it was the time spent with her family that Ruth cherished most.

Funeral services will be held at the Morgantown First United Methodist Church on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at 12:00pm with Bro. Gary Maguffee and Bro. Scott Milbey officiating. Burial will be in the Hill Haven Memory Gardens where Lute Locke, Cameron Carroll, Bryan Locke, Zack Whittinghill, Brody Hunt and Jacob Clark serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 from 3:00pm - 7:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel and Wednesday 10:00am until funeral time at 12:00pm at the Morgantown First United Methodist Church.
