Ruby Shoemaker Porter, 89 of the Huntsville-Quality Rd., Lewisburg, Kentucky died on Tuesday, August 13, 2019, at the Greenwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

She was born Monday, November 25, 1929, the daughter of the late Roy Shoemaker and the late Eunice Coursey Shoemaker. She was the wife of the late Joe Porter.

She had been employed at a Coal Company as an Administrative Assistant and was a member of Quality Baptist Church.

Surviving are son, Phillip Porter-(Denise) of Lewisburg, KY, daughter, Melinda Porter of Russellville, KY, sisters, Elnora Crawford of Dayton, OH and Shirley Perry of Louisville, KY; Sister-In-Law, Treva Clark -(Alderson) of Bowling Green, KY; 1 grand child, Tyler Porter of Lewisburg, KY and several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with Bro. Kyle Guffey officiating. Interment will be in Quality Baptist Church Cemetery, Lewisburg, KY.

The family will receive friends after 10:00 AM on Thursday, August 15, 2019, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, Kentucky.
