Ruby Kessinger Embry, 71, of Morgantown, Kentucky died Saturday, December 17, 2016 at the Cal Turner Rehab & Specialty Care in Scottsville, Kentucky. Ruby was born June 11, 1945, to the late Odie and Sylvia Lacefield Kessinger. She was a member of Chapel Union Missionary Baptist Church and worked as Butler County High School secretary for many years. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by three brothers - Denzel, Gwendon and Mendell Kessinger.

Ruby Kessinger Embry is survived by one daughter, Natalie Embry Cardwell (Scott) of Bowling Green, KY; two brothers - Wendell Kessinger (Mary) of Liberty, KY and Lindon Kessinger (Norma) of Leitchfield, KY; three sisters -  Arvone Martin of Louisville, KY; Wondena Raymer (Carlos) of Morgantown, KY; and Sharon Kent (Sam) of Scottsville, KY; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. with Bro. Greg Fields officiating. Burial will be in the Chapel Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday 8:00 a.m. until funeral time at 12:00 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
