Ruby Helen Franklin, 86, of Morgantown, Kentucky died Saturday December 17, 2016 at the Hospice of Southern KY Hospice House. Ruby was born March 19, 1930 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Tildon and Pearl Milam Miller.  She was the wife of the late Jerry Franklin. She was a member of Cool Springs General Baptist Church and also attended Pleasant Rock Full Gospel Church.  She was retired from Kanes Manufacturing. Other than her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by one grandson - Jason Wayne Franklin; three sisters- Bessie Mae Henderson, Flossie Scanlon and Evelyn McCormick; and six brothers - Jimmie D. Miller, Franklin C. Miller, Cecil Miller, Paul Miller, Shirley Miller and Shelby Ray Miller.

Ruby Helen Franklin is survived by one daughter - Linda Slagle of Morgantown, Ky.; two sons - Jerry Wayne Franklin (Tammy) of Morgantown and Bobby Gene Franklin (Lynn) of Owensboro; two sisters - Lucille Phelps of Morgantown and George Ann Keown of Morgantown; two grandchildren - Jacklyn Britt and Jacob Franklin; several step-grandchildren, several step-great-grandchildren; special friend Patty Tarrance of Morgantown and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Ruby Helen Franklin will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Tuesday on December 20, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. with Bro. Bobby Hatcher and Bro. Larry Clark officiating. Burial will be in the Little Muddy Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 19, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m, and Tuesday 8:00 a.m. until funeral time at 12:00 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
