Royce Dale Embry, 64 of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at the Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Royce was born February 4, 1950 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Thurman Tolbert Embry and Marie Porter Embry Crump who survives. He was a member of Morgantown Community Church, Cassia Masonic Lodge #272, a retired carpenter and coal miner. He is preceded in death by his sister Sharon McCoy and father in-law W.T. Belcher.
Royce Dale Embry is survived by his wife of 43 years Linda Sue Belcher Embry of Morgantown, Ky.; son Jeremy Tolbert Embry and wife Kristen of Caneyville, Ky.; daughter Andrea Beth Burkhalter and husband Ron of Morgantown, Ky.; son Lucas Thomas Otis Embry and companion April of Morgantown, Ky.; 4 granddaughters Sierra Louise Embry of Morgantown, Ky., Kathryn Dale Embry of Caneyville, Ky., Clara Dalene Embry of Caneyville, Ky. and Charli London Kramer of Bowling Green, Ky.; mother Marie Porter Crump husband Ray of Morgantown, Ky.; sister Shirley Givens husband Barry of Morgantown, Ky.; brother in law Andy McCoy of Morgantown, Ky.; mother in- law Odessa Belcher of Morgantown, Ky.; several nieces and nephews and 2 grand dogs Charlie and Chester
Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Saturday, March 1, 2014 at 11:00am with Bro. Gregg Farrell officiating. Burial will be in the Walnut Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28, 2014 from 3:00pm - 8:00pm with Masonic services held at 6:00pm Friday at the Jones Funeral Chapel and visitation Saturday 8:00am until funeral time at 11:00am at the Jones Funeral Chapel.  Memorial Contributions may be made to the Jones Funeral Chapel P.O.
