Ronnie G. West, 63, of  Morgantown, passed away Friday, March 25, 2016 at his residence. He was born in Butler Co., Ky. on August 5, 1952 to the late Alston and Velma Payton West. He was a Drywall Hanger and a member of the Leonard Oak Baptist Church.  He was a Ky. Colonel, loved to race cars, go to church and was a jack of all trades. He loved to fish and spend time with his grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. West is survived by his Companion, Linda Edwards of Morgantown;  3 Sons:  Jody West (Carrie) of Bowling Green, Jesse West of Morgantown, Bobby Willoughby, Jr. (Michelle) of Morgantown;  4 daughters:  Amanda Havens of Morgantown, Shannon Reedy (T.J.) of Morgantown,  Rebecca Bratcher (Leroy) of Morgantown,  Sherry Phelps (Brandon) of Morgantown; 10 Grandchildren:  Hunter, Gavin, Talan and Clayton West, Caysi and Alex Havens, Colton Embry, Maggie & Emie Bratcher, Brayden Phelps; 5 Brothers:   Lawrence West (Gail), Larry West (Roberta), Kenny West (Sandy), Glen West  (Teresa), David West (Joyce) all of Morgantown;  2 Sisters:  Carolyn Burden (Raymond), Linda Carroll (David); many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at Leonard Oak Baptist Church on Monday, March 28, 2016 at 2 pm with Bro. Tommy West officiating.

Burial will follow in Ridgeview Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Sunday from 5-9 pm at the Leonard Oak Baptist Church and Monday 10 am until time of service at Leonard Oak Baptist Church.
