Ronnie (Rockhead) Jones, 57, of Morgantown passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2016, at the South Sunflower County Hospital in Indianola, MS. He was born in Butler Co. on February 4, 1959, to the late Ray and Elizabeth Phelps Jones. Ronnie was a member of the Temple View General Baptist Church. He was a truck driver and loved people and would do anything for you. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Douglas Jones.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years Connie Hammers Jones of Morgantown; one daughter Lana Jones Russ of Morgantown; one son Christopher Glenn Garner of Morgantown; 6 grandchildren Ivan Hunter Russ, Breanna Marie Russ, Hannah, Jacob, Destiny and Brennan Garner; 1 great-grandchild Paisley A. Garner; one sister Jennifer Odle and husband Carson of Morgantown, three brothers Larry Ray Jones of Cromwell, Ky., Timmy G. Jones and wife Vickie of Morgantown, Johnnie Ray Jones and wife Joan of Morgantown; several nieces, nephews, cousins and his dog Sasha.

 Funeral Service will be held at Smith Funeral Home in Morgantown on Saturday, July 2 at 1 pm. with Bro. Gary Embry officiating.
 Burial will follow in the Grant Phelps Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday, July 1 from 4-9pm and Saturday 8 am until time of service at Smith Funeral Home.
