Ronnie Joe Murrell III, 12, of Roundhill, Ky., passed away Sunday, July 30, 2017 in Roundhill, Ky. He was born in Warren Co., Ky. on May 6, 2005. He attended Dishman McGinnis Elementary School and Cool Springs Baptist Church. He loved to play video games with his dad and listening to music, was a UK Wildcat fan, loved spending time with his step dad John Haynes, playing with his best friend Jayden and little sister Serenity. Ronnie was a country boy at heart. He was preceded in death by step father John Haynes; grandparents Ronnie Joe Murrell, Sr., Daisy Mae Murrell and Carolyn Johnson.

Survivors include his mother Christy Haynes of Roundhill; father Ronnie Joe Murrell, Jr. (Samantha) of Bowling Green; sisters Cheyenne, Destiny and Serenity Murrell of Bowling Green and brother Xavier Murrell of Arizona; grandparents Willard Johnson (Martha) of Franklin, Brenda Mahaney of Roundhill, Joseph Lloyd of Russellville, Barbara Hudson (Kenneth) of Somerset, Carlton Boards of Smiths Grove and Chuck Haynes (Mary) of Bowling Green; aunts and uncles Jamie Murrell (Tiffany), Chris Murrell, Toya Clark, Lamont Winn, William Johnson (Amanda), James Johnson (Miranda), William Johnson Jr. (Autumn), Robert Johnson (Ciera), Elizabeth Cockrell (Donnie), Terry Roarx (Amanda) and Jeraldine Roarx.

Funeral Service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Saturday, Aug. 5, 2017 at 2pm with Bro. Kenton Tomes officiating. Burial will follow at Wade Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, Aug. 4 from 3-8pm and Saturday from 9am until time of service at Smith Funeral Home, Morgantown, Ky.
