Ronald Gene West

Ronald Gene West, 71 of Roundhill, KY passed away Thursday December 12, 2019 at his residence. Ronald was born May 2, 1948 in Butler County, Kentucky he is preceded in death by his father Cecil Clifton and mother Mary Susan (Hunt) West and his loving fist wife Ola Lue (Fishburn) West of 48 years. Ronald was a good Godly husband, father, grandpa, brother, neighbor and friend to many. He enjoyed telling stories and talking about the Lord. Ronald was a retired carpenter, whom enjoyed wittling wood carvings into sculptures, tending and raising colts and enjoyed playing the guitar and violin. He was a Jesus name Holliness evangelist and also evangelised on the radio for many years. Ronald lived a good godly life that was pleasing to God...Brother Ronald G. West fought a good fight, he finished his course, he kept the faith: (2 Timothy 4:7 KJV)

Ronald Gene West is survived by his dear wife Rachel Danielle West of Roundhill, KY; one daughter Charlotte Embry of Caneyville, KY; two grandchildren Ethan and Emily Embry of Caneyville, KY; three brothers Ray West (Alice) of Morgantown, KY, Jr West (Anita) of Cox's Creek, KY and Eddie West (Dale) of Horse Cave, KY; five sisters Dorothy Kirby (Bobby) of Morgantown, KY, Lois Phelps (Randall)of Louisville, KY, Joyce McKinney (Sammy) of Silver City, KY, Janice Pharris (Teddy) of Dunbar, KY, Wilma Tomes (Miles) of Morgantown, KY and several nieces and nephews as well as brothers and sisters in the Lord.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Wednesday December 18, 2019 at 1:00pm with Bro. Cecil Compton officiating. Burial will be held in the Cool Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday December 16, 2019 from 5:00pm - 8:00pm, Tuesday 8:00am - 8:00pm and Wednesday 8:00am until funeral time at 1:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
