Rollie "Bubby" Cook Porter, 94 of Morgantown, KY passed away Monday January 11, 2021 at the Signature Health Care in Bowling Green, KY. He was born July 4, 1926 in the Quality Community of Butler County, KY to the late Luther and Luda Cook Porter and husband of the late Joyce Ilene Flener Porter. Bubby attended Belmont General Baptist Church and was a  United States Navy and Air Force veteran serving in WWII and the Korean War. He was a retired postmaster for the United States Postal Service, a Kentucky Colonel and enjoyed spending time with family, friends and UK Basketball. Other than his parents and wife he is preceded in death by one son Timmy Porter; three brothers Denzel Lee Porter, Clarence Porter and Maurice Porter and one sister Loyce Neely. 

Rollie "Bubby" Cook Porter is survived by two sister in laws Carolyn Porter and Janet Embry and husband Pendleton all of Morgantown, KY and several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Friday January 15, 2021 at 1:00pm with Bro. Gary Embry officiating. Burial will be held in the Hill Haven Memory Gardens with military honors. Visitation will be held on Friday January 15, 2021 from 10:00am until funeral time at 1:00pm.
