Roger McKenney, 71 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Monday, August 29, 2016, at the Morgantown Care & Rehab. Roger was born October 8, 1944, in Hartford, Ky. to the late Ellison and Lena Hack McKenney. He worked for the Butler County Banner for many years, and he enjoyed reading and genealogy. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by one brother Piner McKenney; two sisters Christine and Marjorie McKenney and adopted parents, Carl and Hazel Harreld.
Roger McKenney is survived by one son Andrew McKenney of Michigan; one grandson Max McKenney of Michigan; one sister Dorothy McKenney and adopted brother Lewis Stevens and Hugh Taylor.
Memorial services will be held at Monticello Baptist Church Sunday, September 18, 2016 at 2:00 pm with Bro. Randy Burns and Bro. Derek Cain officiating.
