Roger Lee Goodley, age 72 of Owensboro, Kentucky passed away Thursday, February 22, 2024 at the Heartford House in Owensboro, KY. Roger was born on Monday, March 5, 1951 in Henderson County, KY to the late Robert O. Goodley Sr. and Mamie Hall Watson. He was a member of New Life Church in Owensboro, KY and retired from the drywall and construction business. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by one sister Imogene Priest and two brothers Jim and Gary Goodley. 

Roger Lee Goodley is survived by his wife of 54 years Carol Snodgrass Goodley of Owensboro, KY; two daughters Christie Goodley (Tom) of Owensboro, KY and Angela Freeman (Chris) of Owensboro, KY; five grandchildren Dylan Goodley (Ashley) of Philpot, KY, Jonathan Freeman, Joshua Knight, Jessica Freeman and Joseph Freeman all of Owensboro, KY; one great grandchild Teddy Dean Goodley of Philpot, KY; one sister Judy Lee (Stevie) of Hartford, KY and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Monday, February 26, 2024 at 2:00pm with Bro. Todd Camp officiating. Burial will be in the Isiah Evans Cemetery where Jonathan Freeman, Joshua Knight, Dylan Goodley, James Jennings, Thomas Lee, Greg Priest and Michael Fitzgerald will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 26, 2024 from 10:00am until funeral time at 2:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the Gideon's P.O.
