Roger Bobbett, age 81, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2022 at the Morgantown Care and Rehab Center. He was born on Jan. 13, 1941 to the late Richard and Lelia Mae Bumpus Bobbett. He was a truck driver, electrician and a member of the IBEW. Roger enjoyed participating in tractor pulls, aggravating family and friends and storytelling. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Roger is survived by his wife of 59 ½ years Doris Elder Bobbett; children Kim Drane, Tonya Key (Jamie) and Scott Bobbett; grandchildren Terry Richmond (Brittany), Jessica Voyles (Tim), Matt Richmond (Sarah) and Dan Drane; great grandson Hunter Clay Richmond; sisters Barbara Burris (Hoy), Roberta Lawrence and several nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, Nov. 4, 2022 at 2pm at Smith Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Hatcher officiating. Burial will be held in the Little Muddy Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, Nov. 3 from 4pm until 8pm and Friday, Nov. 4 from 8am until 2pm at Smith Funeral Home.
