Rodney C. Betts, 89 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Friday, March 8, 2019 at Hospice of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green, KY. Rodney was born May 25, 1929 in Redonda Beach, California to the late Harold D. and Linnea Lundbrg Betts. He was a member of Cave Mill General Baptist Church and retired California Highway Patrolman. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by one sister Dorothy Whitely and three brothers Harold, Ralph and Roger Betts.

Rodney C. Betts is survived by his wife of 62 years Joanna Embry Betts; one daughter Denise McDonald and husband Edward of Las Vegas, Nevada; one son Larry David Lefner and wife Janna V of Colorado; three grandchildren Erin Orion Lefner of Florida, Christina Marie Groff of Las Vegas, NV and Kyle Edward McDonald of Las Vegas, NV; two great grandchildren Caitlyn Aston Groff and Gavyn Jacob Groff both of Las Vegas, NV; one sister Constance Keesling Riverside, California and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 11:00am at the Jones Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2019 from 10:00am until service time at 11:00am at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
