Robert Wayne “Bobby” Evans, 54, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2016, at his home in Morgantown, Kentucky. Bobby was born July 22, 1961 to the late Mary Talmage “Toppie” Evans and Hugh Carroll Evans who survives. Affectionately known to friends and family as “Skillet,” he enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, gardening, and spending time with friends and family. Bobby was a member of Cool Springs General Baptist Church. 

Bobby was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Talmage “Toppie” Evans. He is survived by three sons Michael Morris, Cyle Morris wife Heather, and Cody Phelps; six grandchildren; father Hugh Carroll Evans; siblings Linda Carol Evans Staples husband Steve, Lisa Evans Goldsmith husband Phil, of Tupelo, Mississippi, William Gregory Evans wife Stacie, and Shannon Kay Evans Massey husband Dale; grandmother Arra Wanna Evans; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. 

Funeral services will be held at Jones Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor Derek Cain officiating. Burial will be in the Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 2, 2016, from 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Chapel and on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 from 8:00 am until funeral service time at 1:00 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
