Robert Allen Elmer, 50 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Tuesday May 8, 2012 at the Hospice of Southern Kentucky Hospice Center in Bowling Green, Ky. He was a Merrillville Indiana native, son of the late Charles W. Elmer and Carmelita Gramelspacher Elmer who survives. Member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Our Lady of Consolation and St. Bede Catholic Church, computer tech. and aN avid animal lover.

Robert Allen Elmer is survived by his wife Donna Marie Elmer of Morgantown, Ky.; mother Carmelita Elmer of Merrillville, Indiana; sister Mary Alice Wilding of Lowell, Indiana; brother William "Bill" Elmer wife Lori of Porter, Indiana; sister Teresa Elmer Baldino of Las Vegas, NV; sister in law Georgia Sanders husband Tom of Granger, Indiana; sister in law Kathie Leroy husband Gary of Crown Point, Indiana; father in law Marvin A. Stanley wife Pat of Morgantown, Ky and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service honoring Robert will be held at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Our Lady of Consolation in Morgantown, Ky Thursday May 24, 2012 at 8:30am. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Chapel. Online condolences may be made at www.jonesfuneralchapel.com.
