Robert E. Snodgrass, 93 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Friday April 12, 2013 at the Morgantown Care and Rehab in Morgantwon, Ky. Robert was born April 13, 1919 in Butler County, Ky. to the late Esley R. and Winnie Butler Snodgrass. He was a founding member of the Morgantown Church of the Nazarene, founder of the Gideon International Butler and Edmonson Camps and retired contracter. Preceded in death by one half brother. Robert E. Snodgrass is survived by his wife of 73 years Myrtle "Pat" Snodgrass of Morgantown, Ky.; daughter Carole Brown husband Phil of Morgantown, Ky; son Robert E. Snodgrass II wife Joyce of Nashville, TN; 6 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 2 half brothers and 1 half sister.
Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Sunday April 14, 2013 at 2:00pm with Bro. Ryan Snodgrass officiating. Burial will be in the Hill Haven Memory Garden.
