Mr. Robert ‘Bob’ Allen Sykes, Jr., age 67, of Vernon, Florida passed away November 4, 2014 in Washington County Florida. He was born December 15, 1946 in Bowling Green, Kentucky to the late Robert Allen Sykes, Sr. and Edna Warren Sykes.

Mr. Sykes is survived by his wife, Sandra Brown Sykes of Vernon, FL; a son, Mike Sykes of Morgantown, KY; a daughter, Kerra Ogden and husband Matt of Bowling Green, KY; a step-son, Jared Seay and wife Misty of Hartford, AL; two sisters, Linda Neighbors and husband Gene of Morgantown, KY and Betty Yates and husband Butch of Smyrna, TN; four grandchildren, Josh Sykes, Jerzeigh Sykes, Layla Ogden, Brayden Ogden; two step-grandchildren, Jaxson Seay, Jesikah Seay.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Peel Funeral Home Chapel with Jonathan Taylor officiating. Interment will follow with military honors in Meadowlawn Memorial Park with Peel Funeral Home directing. Family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Friday at Peel Funeral Home Chapel in Bonifay, FL.
