Rita Diane Young, age 65 of Morgantown, KY passed away Friday, June 9, 2023 at the Morgantown Care & Rehab. Diane was born on Friday, June 21, 1957 in Butler County, KY to the union of the late C W and Myrlene Cardwell Cox and wife of the late David Young. She was retired and formerly employed at Little Rascals Day Care & Sumitomo Electric. Diane enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. Other than her parents and husband she is preceded in death by three siblings Robbie Cox, Brenda Hunt and Linda Sue Cox; brother in law Ronnie Hunt and sister in law Barbara Cox.

Rita Diane Young is survived by two sons Jeremy Young (Kristie) of McEwen, TN and Jeff Young (Cierra Miller) of Bowling Green, KY; two grandchildren Sydney and Jaxon Young of Bowling Green, KY; four step grandchildren Laynie, Paiden, Oakleigh and Cambree Lisenby; three siblings Randall Cox (Nancy) of Morgantown, KY, Charles "Chobby" Cox (Lisa) of Brownsville, KY and Scott Cox (Leslie) of Bowling Green, KY and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at 4:00pm with Bro. Kenny Cox officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 from 12:00pm until funeral time at 4:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
